Welcome to the New InnoShare Support Wiki

In Web 2.0, the most common organizational format for definitions and how-to guides is the WIKI. Because wikis allow users to easily find information through simple searches, we chose the wiki format for our online user support library.

The Purpose of the Wiki

This Support Wiki will feature the most common support questions we get from our customers. If you don’t see the answer to your question here, just send an email to support@innoshare.com and let us know - we will respond with an answer and add the answer to the wiki if we think it will help other customers.

How The Wiki Works

The Gray Boxes

On the Left Hand side you will notice four gray boxes.

  • The First Box is the Search Box - type in key words relating to your question and the wiki will return results for you to review. For example, if your question is, “How do I setup my Outlook Express?” you might search for “Outlook Express”.
  • The second Box is the “Index”. The index is a type of “site map”, allowing you to navigate through support topics heirarchically. If you wanted to know how to set up an email client to access InnoShare email services, you could navigate to “e-mail” link then “client setup” then choose which program you use for your e-mail.
  • The Third box can be used to return you quickly to the homepage and is also used by administrators. We will be offering administration to some of our customers to give them a chance to help fellow customers answer questions. If you are interested in sharing your knowledge with others, just email support@innoshare.com, or chat with us to find out more.
  • The Fourth box contains links for remote IT support. These links can only be used at the request of an InnoShare support representative.

Trace & "You Are Here"

Also known as “breadcrumbs” because they will help you identify your current location in the wiki.

  • Trace will lead you backward through pages you have previously visited
  • “You Are Here” shows your location in the wiki’s hierarchy of topics.

Table of Contents

The Table of Contents works the same as any table of contents does with some minor differences. Instead of being a table of contents for the ENTIRE wiki, the TOC lists headings on the current page. The table of contents allows you to quickly navigate down a long page to a particular subtopic of interest.

When you get to the bottom of a page we have included a “BACK TO TOP” button to make it easier to return to the top of the page without having to scroll all the way back up.

*Surprise for FireFox Users* Since we are major supporters of the Firefox Web Browser - we did include a small gift to you - a “^Top” button on the right hand side. If you are using FireFox then you have probably already noticed it following you down the page. Anytime you want to go back to the top, just click it! Much easier than having to go all the way to the bottom to get to the top.

This Should Sum it up

I hope this explained how to use our new Wiki throughly enough and if you have any questions never shy away from giving us a call, we are always more than happy to help out our customers over the phone. Most of our customers even have our cell phone numbers for emergencies. And after we have helped you out - look for your question on the Wiki, it will be there to help out anyone else.

When I was a kid my teachers used to say “Don’t be afraid to ask, you aren’t the only one with that question!”

Help One - Help All

Good Luck! - And Thank You for trying our New Support Wiki!
