and shaolin vs. lama could quite possibly be the best. I was turned on to this movie about two years ago by a friend after explaining my enjoyment in an occasional kung fu flick. He informed me that I must see "chicken fists" and looking back I would say he was right. Now I understand that kung fu movies are not for everyone but I have seen few people who actually sit and watched it who didn't agree it is one of the best movies ever. What makes it good? Well for starters bad acting, I mean after all bad acting didn't stop people from going to see transformers. I also think that a shaolin monk who eats red meat, drinks good wine and takes no students makes for a good plot line.



Oh and did I mention voice over, normally you would assume if you were trying to voice over a person of Asian decent you would do it with another person of Asian decent... not so much here. It sounds as though they got a spaghetti western actor who was out of work at the time and a couple of guys from Liverpool (yep that Liverpool). All of these infusions added to the solid gold quality of this movie. So as a tribute to this gem I decided to make a soundboard with some of the more notable quotes. Fair warning there is a little harsh language but nothing worse that anything you might find on the CBS evening lineup. I encourage you not to spend too much time at the soundboard if you have not seen the movie because if you have a list of things to do before you die this movie should be on it.
