02/05: Al Gore & David Woods

Recently my dad (David Woods) called me up to tell me he was contacted to take pictures of Al Gore with about 150 different people. It was a photo-op with big wigs from dozens of companies and groups. Since we here at InnoShare think Al Gore is one of the best guys alive, we were impressed. David Woods is a photographer in Central Florida so this was a pretty big deal. He sent me the image below:
I asked my dad what he thought of Al Gore after we posted up this blog and immediately he told me a story that completely explained Al Gore. He was taking pictures of Al Gore, which drew quite a crowd watching through a window in the meeting room they were shooting in. At the end of the shoot, people who were working asking to get their pictures taken with their favorite politician. Al Gore was more than happy to oblige and had his picture taken with the entire crew just about.
Thats not the cool part, after he had been there already for a few hours and all the crew pics were shot, he actually asked to be excused to step outside and just meet and talk with the onlookers for awhile! Thats a stand up thing for any celebrity / politician to do. Kudos to you Al Gore!
