Where We've Been (and Where We're Going)
The Beginning
InnoShare was founded in 2000 to give schools a more cost-effective way manage their websites. We created proprietary software which allowed schools to update their own websites without the need for expensive outside assistance. The program, called the Edsyndicate Content Management System, allowed school employees to update their website using only basic word processing skills. Best of all, schools did not need to purchase expensive software and hardware and updates could be made from any PC with an Internet connection.
Moving Toward Small Business
After spending some time pursuing schools, we found (quite by accident) that our offering is a natural fit for restaurants, bars, clubs, and member organizations. Actually, our content management system (CMS), coupled with its integrated email newsletter tools, business email and webmail services provides an excellent launching platform for almost any small business with basic marketing and communication needs.
Looking Forward
In January, we launched our new website with new online support tools and a blog to help us share our ideas. During the coming year, we will be releasing a completely upgraded version of almost all of our software. Our new offering will combine the lessons learned over the past six years, along with new services tailored to make the job of managing your web presence easier than ever before.
